1) East End Maker Hub
A makerspace and manufacturing center for innovators, fabricators and crafters.
2) Greentown Labs
The largest climate tech startup incubator in North America. Bringing together startups, corporates, investors, policymakers, and many others with a focus on scaling climate solutions. Driven by the mission of providing startups the resources, knowledge, connections, and equipment they need to thrive.
3) The Ion
Located in the Downtown Innovation District, the Ion is an inclusive, dynamic, vibrant, and dense hub focusing on quality collaborations between entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerators, corporations, academics, and the Houston community.
4) The Ion District
The District is designed to illuminate and accelerate pathways to progress (across tech, healthcare, energy, agriculture, food & beverage, you name it), drawing talent from—while further interlinking—a powerful pipeline of surrounding neighbors, academics, researchers, students, startups, civic leaders, investors, mentors, makers, and businesses at every stage.
5) Texas A&M Innovation Plaza
Consisting of three towers — Discovery, Life and Horizon — Innovation Plaza will be home to the Texas A&M Engineering Medicine (EnMed) program and provide student housing for the Prairie View A&M University’s College of Nursing. It will feature research facilities, affordable student housing, office space, retail space and parking.
6) San Jacinto College Biotechnology Cente
The state-of-the-art facility is slated to allow for more hands-on training within simulated environments, and will allow students to earn associate of applied science degrees in biomanufacturing technology, as well as credentials for those already in the workforce.
7) The Woodlands Innovation Park
New type of employment center that also includes a range of housing options and a commercial mixed-use town center focused around an 11-acre linear park. The community is connected through a multi-modal street network and pedestrian and bicycle trail system.
8) The Us Space
The US Space was created to be a positive, affirming, and uplifting environment where ideas can flourish safely. We are an inclusive community where everyone is welcome and ‘the table’ is built with women of color specifically in mind.
9) JLABS @ TMC
The JLABS model has as a mission to enable talented scientists in the region to take their innovations to the next level, furthering our goal of helping entrepreneurs advance science with the potential to become transformational solutions for patients. This includes making connections to global subject matter experts at Johnson & Johnson Innovation, including opportunities to discuss funding, access third-party services, attend educational events, and meet with R&D experts.
10) TMC Innovation
TMC Innovation drives collaborations with medicine and cutting-edge technology from around the world to the Texas Medical Center. By supporting entrepreneurs as they broaden their vision and network, we help companies take their products from bench to bed.
11) CDI @ TMC
As a state-of-the-art facility, CDI @ TMC has several dedicated spaces that house specialized equipment that allows for rapid prototyping and provides a comparable test environment to allow for device testing onsite.
12) CUBIO
CUBIO is a collaborative life science incubator located in the Texas Medical Center in Houston. CUBIO’s primary mission is to give medtech and biotech startups the resources they need to thrive.
13) Deison Technology Park
Services provided for this project include design and construction management of water distribution, wastewater collection, storm sewer and detention and pavement improvements. Served as overall project manager for all infrastructure improvements.
14) Rice Alliance
Rice University’s nationally-recognized initiative devoted to the support of technology commercialization, entrepreneurship education, and the launch of technology companies. Our mission is to support the creation and success of startups and the commercialization of new technologies in the Houston community and beyond.
15) Accenture Innovation Hub
The Houston Innovation Hub is Accenture’s premier location for the Net Zero Accelerator, designed to accelerate the shift towards a net-zero economy. Accenture’s Net Zero Accelerator brings together Accenture’s unique capabilities, a team of diverse skillsets and expertise, access to emerging technologies, and robust ecosystem partnerships into the Houston Innovation Hub to help our clients answer - How might we build our Net Zero future?
16) Houston Exponential
Houston Exponential was created to accelerate the development of Houston’s innovation economy by fostering a robust ecosystem that supports high-growth, high-impact startups. It will convene the ecosystem, helping to build an innovation district in Houston, attracting talent to the region and promoting Houston’s image, both locally and nationally, as a vibrant, innovative economy where startups thrive.
17) MassChallenge
A nonprofit, MassChallenge connects startups, experts, corporations, and communities to grow and transform businesses and economies. Our unique equity-free model allows us to accelerate high-impact startups with bold, disruptive ideas from non-traditional backgrounds. We offer a variety of programs, accelerators, and partnerships throughout the year to those who share our vision of transformative innovation.
18) Softeq
As experienced digital transformation service providers, we help you understand emerging technologies, manage ideation, build business cases, and deliver disruptive solutions. 21 ) bp Center for High-Performance Computing
bp’s Center for High-Performance Computing (CHPC) in Houston has one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers for commercial research, which we have used to make historic breakthroughs in rock physics and advanced seismic imaging, allowing our teams to see deep into the Earth’s subsurface.
22) Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC)
HARC is a 501(c)(3) organization, a research hub providing independent analysis on energy, air, and water issues to people seeking scientific answers.
23) Impact Hub Houston
Impact Hub is growing the world’s largest network dedicated to supporting social entrepreneurs, with over 24,000 members at 104+ locations in over 64 countries spanning five continents. We connect communities around the world to ensure deeper dialogue, inclusive action, and a shared database for greater insights.
24) Golden Section Venture Studio
With a focus on investing in B2B software companies, Golden Section partners with founders, pre-seed to post exit, through a differentiated offering to reduce confusion and chaos, augment team expertise, and emphasize balance and sustainability for founders.
25) UH Technology Bridge
The UH Technology Bridge is ideally located adjacent to the UH campus, providing a rich synergy between innovation in the classroom and labs, the developing UH medical school and the innovation community at the park. The proximity of these components within the university community makes UH a powerhouse for innovation, providing a support system for students, faculty, industrial partners and startups alike.
